Horse Racing

This game is based on the enormous amount of information about Li Xian Weng, the king of Hong Kong's illegal horse-racing circuit during the 1930s, and is an excellent representation of the world of horse racing in those days.
Li Xian Weng made a fortune equal to the the price of the whole of Hong Kong Island, and he invested all of the money into the development of illegal horse racing.
However, in 1942. he was arrested on a charge of espionage and died in prison the following year. The horse racing was also blockaded by the authorities.
The cause of his death is uncertain, and he was never proven to be a spy.
