Long ago, when I was starting out, I read one of those awful WRITER'S DIGEST psych-you-up things (late '76) stating that F. Scott Fitzgerald had collected 122 rejection slips before selling a story. I stopped counting at 125.
All of which proves that I'm persistent. Whether I can write is a horse of a different color. You be the judge.
